After the riot at our Nation's Capital in Washington, DC,

thousands of troops from outside of the area arrived from far away

to help protect our citizens, our Capital, and the surrounding area.  Many slept on floors and in garages when off duty.

To show our support and thanks to the troops and our local law enforcement, CDF created snack bags to help provide a bit of sustenance and comfort.

​

We drove as close as we could to reach these brave women and men to distribute the bags and our thanks.

​

In every case, they seemed surprised and grateful - for the snacks (in some cases it was their dinner), and appreciation.
